Does Foriegn need to pay extra charge when go to clinic?
Hi.. i have a friend who is on travel permit.. he is sick in singapore.. i wanted to bring him to the clinic to see the doctor… so is the medical fee same as singaporean? pls help.. thanks alot..
If it’s a private doctor, then there isn’t any extra charge. But if you’re referring to government polyclinics or hospitals, yes there would be.
For example, at the polyclinic, a basic consultation is around S$9 (excluding medication) for an adult Singaporean. For a foreigner, this would be around S$22.
